Aroma: Beautiful joyful essential oils all sitting harmoniously together, waiting to transmit their effervescence to you. This blend is uplifting yet calming. It is happiness in a bottle. The aroma is very citrussy with a honey backdrop and a subtle Australian native note in the background.
The ritual: Put a few drops in to an oil burner/diffuser & allow yourself to be uplifted.
Ingredients & properties:
May chang- Litsea cubeba is a lovely lemon and sweet honey aroma. It is a very uplifting oil and great for reducing stress and anxiety. It is also very relaxing.
Honey myrtle- Melaleuca teretifolia has a beautiful sweet honey and lemon aroma reminiscent of the Australian bush.
Lemon myrtle- Backhousia citriodora is one of the most popular and exciting new discoveries to come to the Australian range of native essential oils. The tree is found abundantly in Queensland and northern New South Wales rainforests. It has a beautiful smooth lemony aroma with good antifungal and antimicrobial properties. It is also used a lot as a herb and food flavouring in Aussie food or bush tucker.
Lemon ironbark-Eucalyptus staigeriana is a wonderfully bright and sparkly lemon scented oil, a beautiful native Australian tree. it is a stimulating and mentally uplifting oil.
Orange- Citrus sinensis is a beautifully sweet aroma. It is very uplifting and cheering., works well for anxiety and is calming yet can also be energizing.
Elemi-Canarium luzonicum is a resinous, woody, piney, lemony and balsamic aroma. Elemi is sometimes referred to as the poor cousin of frankincense. It has a similar lemony and balsamic aroma.
Shelf life: It will keep for around 2-3 years if stored with lid tightly closed in a cool, dark area.
