Aroma: woody & grounding
Properties: Cedarwood essential oil is a lovely woody, relaxing oil from the Himalayas in India. Great for grounding. It is also very supportive.
Physically it is good for oily skin, acne and the respiratory system. It is also good for circulation and the scalp.
This is the cedarwood that we stock seeing that Atlas cedarwood (native to Morocco) is on the endangered species list. Himayalan cedarwood is very similar to Atlas cedarwood although maybe slightly sweeter.
Blends with: citrus oils, clary sage, cypress, frankincense, juniper, lavender, ylang ylang
It is steamed distilled from wood chips
Shelf life: It will keep for at least 5 years if stored with lid tightly closed in a cool, dark area.
