Citrus aurantium var amara Italy
This is a lovely refreshing oil with bitter green overtones. It is often referred to a the poor cousin of neroli.
It is a wonderful oil for stress, anxiety & depression. It is calming and also helps promote sleep. It eases confusion and lessens anger and is a lovely oil for creating harmony and very balancing. It is also believed to open the channels of communication with the higher self.
Physically it is a nice oil for skin complaints and has an affinity with the digestive system.
It blends well with other citrus, basil, cedarwood, chamomile, clary sage, clove, cypress, frankincense, geranium, lavender, palmarosa, rosemary, vetiver & ylang ylang..
It is steam distilled from the leaves & twigs
It will keep for around 5 years if stored with lid tightly closed in a cool, dark area.
