Aroma: May chang has a lovely lemon and honey aroma.
Properties: It is a very uplifting oil and great for reducing stress and anxiety and is also very relaxing.
Physically, because it has a very high citral content, it is a very antibacterial oil, it is also useful for acne & oil skin and works well as a deodorant and and insect repellant.
It works well in body oil (under 1%) and for the diffuser.
Blends with: black pepper, cedarwood, citrus oils, clary sage, geranium, lavender, patchouli, rosemary, vetiver & ylang ylang.
It is steam distilled from the ripe berries.
Shelf life: It will keep for around 2-3 years if stored with lid tightly closed in a cool, dark area.
*Use <0.8% during pregnancy and do not use on sensitive skin or on children under 2 years of age.
