Aroma: Herbacious, sweet & fresh. Much lighter and much more gentle than similar oils such as eucalyptus oil, myrtle is a relaxing scent.

Properties: Emotionally, myrtle is a restorative oil and good for anger. It is calming & relaxing. It is a very supportive oil for a healthy body & useful with colds, Use it at night before sleeping as it is very mild. Myrtle is also very supportive in the winter.

Blends with: black pepper, citrus oils, clary sage, lavender, rosemary & tea tree.

It is steam distilled from the leaves.

Shelf life: It will keep for up to 3 years if stored with lid tightly closed in a cool, dark area.
