Silver fir works well with the respiratory system for all respiratory complaints and supports the immune system. It also works well with the muscular & skeletal system and is a strong antimicrobial oil.
Emotionally it helps to gain mental clarity and lift negative emotions and sadness. It is also very energizing and good for fatigue. Silver fir may also help with anxiety and tension. It is uplifting and refreshing.
Silver fir blends well with many oils, including citrus oils, black pepper, cedarwood, cypress, frankincense, lavender, pine, rosemary, sweet marjoram and thyme.
It is steam distilled from the needles.
Aromatically, it smells like Christmas is piney, slightly fruity and balsamic and much like the fresh needles of the silver fir tree.
It will keep for up to 5 years if stored with lid tightly closed in a cool, dark area.
